John A. McColley

John A. McColley began writing in earnest a decade ago. He’s published over  sixty short stories across websites, anthologies, magazines, and a few  stand alone pieces. He has a Patreon page where he’s serializing two  novel series, one fantasy, one sci-fi, and occasionally posts writing  updates, shorts, and drawings. His first story with Ascendent is Nighthawks, in Double Feature annual issue 1, A Night at the Grand  Guignol. In 2024, John headlined a pulp sc-fi issue of Double Feature (DF#5 - Invaders From Earth)  and publishing a historical fiction horror novel, The Weight of Darkness with Ascendent.
In 2025, he plans to release five books:
- "Down the Drain" in February (Paperback/ eBook)
- "GEODE" in April
- "Breaking The Word" in June

 - "Logicians of Ambervale" in August

 - "When Smoke Walks, Fire Follows" in October
